Information on player equipment
BOYS
Boys are required to wear helmets, gloves, arm pads,
shoulder pads and a mouth piece. Athletic supports w/ cups
are also recommended. No leg gear is needed.
Soccer or football cleats are the appropriate footwear. A
lacrosse stick is also needed. Goalies use a wider stick
than normal. Hockey equipment can be substituted for much
of what is required.
Loaner equipment (except stick) will be made available to Bantam
players with a refundable $50 deposit upon request.
GIRLS
Girls are required to
wear eye guards. Girls also need lacrosse sticks.
Girl's sticks differ from boy's sticks slightly in that girl's
sticks have no real pocket. Soccer cleats are the
appropriate footwear. Goalies use a wider stick than
normal.
LACROSSEWEAR
We have arranged for
a special deal for our start-up program with
Lacrossewear in Coconut Creek. Scott is our assigned
rep. A complete set of boys
equipment (stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder and arm pads, ball,
and mouthpiece) are offered to our program at a highly
discounted price. This price is special to Davie so
please email
davielax@earthlink.net and request a boys or girls equipment
form. You can then fax your completed forms to
Lacrossewear (954) 429-1092, or give to me.
If you need individual gear or would like higher caliber gear
than starter gear, visit or contact
Lacrossewear (ask for Scott).
