October 19, November 8, November 15, December 7  Free Clinics, Davie - The Davie Youth Lacrosse Foundation will hold a number of free skills clinic for the players on select weekends from October - January.  Loaner sticks will be available if needed.  Coaches will teach the kids the skills needed to play the game.

January 17, 2009  Kickoff Pinic, Davie We will hold our inaugural Season Kickoff picnic.  We will have the usual burgers and dogs and the appropriate fixings.  We will have some goals there so bring your sticks.  The coaches will be introduced and will say a few words around noon.  We will also have new t-shirt designs on sale.  Come and go as you like.  

January 23-25, 2009  Florida Lacrosse Classic, Weston - The Florida Youth Lacrosse Foundation is holding the Eighth Annual Florida Lacrosse Classic on January 23-25, 2009.  This is the main fund raising event for the Florida Youth Lacrosse Foundation.  A twenty-one Grand Masters teams (45 and over) and nine Half-Century teams (50 and over) will compete over 3 days.  The teams are made up of the premier players from their time.  The legs are not as spry but the games are still exciting.  Admission is free.  Volunteers are needed.  www.floridalaxclassic.com
